Natalie Buxton is a foster mum nurturing two bundles of joy; a five-week-old Chihuahua pup named Chip and a four-week-old kitten named Adele.
Chip was surrendered to Operation Kindness, a no-kill shelter in Texas because his owners felt he was too young to be looked after. On the same day, Adele made her way to the shelter as a stray, with no littermates or mum. They were placed together to keep each other company and bonded instantly.
Due to their age, Natalie will be fostering the furry pair for about 5 weeks. “Without a foster home, Chip and Adele would have had nowhere to go because they are much too young to be in an animal shelter.” she wrote on Facebook.
To help find Chip and Adele a forever home in the near future, photographer Teresa Berg treated the best friends to a photo shoot and captured the reason why they must go to the same home.
“There’s nothing sweeter than friendship!”
